Today, Dot Thomson, our SIO - School Improvement Officer - came to school for her last visit before she retires. We are always delighted to see her and have found her support and challenge a great help in our striving to be an outstanding school for our pupils. Dot gave Geoff our head the usual grilling(!), observed an NQT and was then completely surprised to receive flowers & cards at lunch with the Senior Leadership Team. Dot has seen the journey that Newfield has been on and feels that we have all worked hard and are on the right track to continue to improve in our quest for excellence. We would like to thank Dot for all of her support and we look forward to welcoming her back for our special events. Happy Retirement Dot!
