Bendrigg Residential

This week, some of our oldest pupils are taking part in a residential visit to Bendrigg Lodge in the Lake District to take part in some out door adventure activities. They are staying for the full or part of the week, with support from staff from school, and will be doing all sorts of exciting things, like a zip wire, canoeing and abseiling. We are able to facilitate this residential thanks to staff giving up their own time and the Bendrigg Trust funding half of the costs - thanks very much to them all. The group were very excited when they left school on Monday morning and in the photo you can see them enjoying time in a wigwam in the grounds on the Monday evening. This was followed by some archery! It’s always an action packed week, where the staff come home more exhausted than the children, but everyone has a great time. We look forward to their return and seeing what they’ve been up to.
