Post 16 Performance

Today, our oldest pupils presented their Christmas Production, Mary Poppins, to parents, friends from Crosshill and various other guests. Having spent all term rehearsing, making costumes and props and making sure they were word perfect, they did a fantastic job. The audience joined in with favourites such as ‘A spoon full of sugar’, ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ and ‘Let’s go fly a kite’! The chimney sweeps danced, Mary sang beautifully and everyone enjoyed a happy ending. We also said goodbye to HLTA Rachael Hayhurst who has been an absolute tower of strength in post 16, organising the choir, productions and proms for a number of years. She leaves us to join the Appletrees team, so we will miss her but no doubt see her soon. Thanks to all involved in the show today and a big well done!
