We were delighted to find out today that one of our former teachers, Cate Tindall, has been awarded an MBE in the 2016 New Years Honours list for her ‘services to children in special educational needs and disabilities’. Cate retired last Easter, but worked with our youngest children for many years and supported hundreds of children and their families. Huge congratulations go to Cate for this accolade. We know that she is as busy as ever, but enjoying retirement and she looked vibrant and happy when she visited school before the holidays. We look forward to hearing all about the ceremony when she goes to meet the Queen to collect the award. A great start to 2016 for one of our Newfield family - Happy New Year to all, may this be a successful year for everyone!
