RRSA Coffee Morning

This morning, members of the steering group invited new staff to come during their break for refreshments and to learn about us being a Rights Respecting School at level 2. The pupils told new staff who came all about how important children’s rights are to us all at Newfield and how we work as ambassadors for UNICEF, making sure that other schools in Blackburn understand children’s rights too. Anne Gager, Senior Lecturer in Inclusion (SEND) and Partnership Tutor at the University of Cumbria also came to find out about RRSA while she was visiting a student teacher on placement here. She thought it was very interesting and was interested in us telling her other student teachers about it - so watch this space. Thanks and well done to the pupils and staff of the steering group for successfully informing the newest members of the Newfield family!
