Following the OFSTED visit that took place on our return after half term on the 23rd & 24th February we are delighted to announce that Newfield is ‘outstanding’ in all areas. OFSTED measured us on:
- Effectiveness of leadership and management
- Quality of teaching, learning and assessment
- Personal development, behaviour and welfare
- Outcomes for pupils
- Early years provision
- 16 to 19 study programmes
And we’re very impressed with all aspects of school.
They spoke to pupils, parents, governors and staff and observed lots of lessons. It was exciting, but nerve wracking to have them in school.
We would like to thank everyone involved with the school for working with us to make this happen. We all believe that our children deserve the very best and we are so proud to be part of the OUTSTANDING Newfield family!
