Back in June the RRSA group raised money to buy play items for the Love for Kenya charity - an orphanage and school in Kenya - which we told you about in the blog. Our friend Julia Dyer went over to take the footballs, parachutes and gifts during the summer. They were all delighted with the play items - as you can see in the photo - and Julie took lots more photos and has brought them back, along with writing and pictures from the children. We will be putting this on display in the Atrium. The RRSA steering group is keen to keep a link with the charity, supporting orphans to have their rights and will be leading more activities this year in support of them, as well as keeping in touch with the teacher there.
