TG3's Train Adventure

Today TG3 went to Blackburn train station and met with British rail employee, Daisy. Daisy showed the pupils how to purchase a ticket, find the platform and use the train itself. The pupils got on the train and travelled to Preston train station using their newly purchased tickets and noted all the different things they saw including houses, trees and Mushy even spotted some caravans. Once arriving in Preston, the pupils then had a look at safety at the railway and made sure they stood behind the yellow line when a train approached the platform. There was time to have a spot of lunch then they jumped back on a brand new refurbished virgin train to return back the Blackburn. It was a very busy day and the pupils (and staff!) were all yawning when they arrived back to school!
