Sensory Christmas Event

What an amazing few days we’ve had running the Christmas Sensory event! Children have enjoyed coming into Newfield’s very own Christmas wonderland in the 4D studio. It’s been exciting - tearing open presents and re-wrapping empty boxes in colourful Christmas wrapping paper, bubble wrap and choosing fancy ribbon and bows to put on them. Our Christmas sensory rainmakers were a lot of fun to make by snapping twigs, pouring rice and adding mini red bells into empty plastic bottles. The whole studio oozed with delicious smells from the Christmas scents sensory basket and from the mince pies and cinnamon custard that we tasted. If that wasn’t enough Christmas overload… everyone joined in with a very lively Christmas singsong to finish off the session. Fa la la la la……………Merry Christmas Everyone!
