RRSA Steering Group Meeting

This afternoon the steering group met to discuss a range of initiatives including planning for Fairtrade Fortnight. As always there were lots of ideas and suggestions. The group watched a video about farming looking at Fairtrade bananas and then discussed what we had learnt. We then enjoyed making posters and decorations to promote events in school. Amongst other things the group will be holding a special tuck shop, visiting a local carehome to teach them about Fairtrade, investigating what Fairtrade products different shops have, having a lunch of Fairtrade foods and helping families learn more about this interesting subject. Look out for info around school and if you are in during the fortnight - 26th February to 9th March - maybe you can join in too!
