R6 & R7 trip to Knowsley Safari Park

R6 & R7 all enjoyed our joint class trip to Knowsley Safari Park. We arrived and completed the Safari walk where we saw Sergei and Aleksandr and Oleg and their meerkat friends. We walked around the tiger enclosure but they weren’t taking visitors at that time. We ate our lunch and then watched the sea lion display. It was really noisy but very good. The staff at Knowsley showed us some live animals such as a snail & cockroaches and even an elephants tooth (not in its mouth!). At the end of the trip, we got to drive through the rest of the safari park and saw white rhinos, gibbons, buffalo and lots of different deer including bambi. When driving through the lion enclosure we had to close all of the windows just in case but the lions were sleeping so we were safe. We had a great day.
