Harvest 2018

This morning we celebrated Harvest with our annual assembly. It was lovely to see so many parents and friends join us for this special occasion. This year we once again collected food for the Blackburn Food Bank. We were very pleased with the very kind donations that were sent in by our families and staff to help this worthy cause. The assembly was held in our hall, decorated with seasonal artwork from the children and it looked great - fantastic work everyone! It was our EYFS class’s first time in the hall and they all did really well! As always parents/carers really loved it and it was the last time for the full school assembly for harvest as ASD move out after half term… which is quite poignant. Thanks go to our friend, the Reverend Munawar Din from Christ Church, Blackburn who joined us and spoke to everyone. The choir sang a rousing song and everyone had a really good time, at this first special assembly of the new school year.
