Nick's Charity Donation

Today Nick Bellas, our super pupil services administrator, presented Geoff, our Head teacher, with a cheque for over £1000, which he raised during the Easter holidays 2018, by taking on the challenge of walking the entire length of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal to raise money for school and for the East Lancashire Masonic Charity - Nick’s Crazy Canal Challenge.

He set off on the crazy 127 mile trek and those of you who followed his journey on the blog will know that the weather started out well.. but turned bad… really bad! Poor Nick suffered terribly with the cold and damp, and his feet have only recently recovered from the ordeal!

However, we are delighted to receive the money raised, and he wants this to go towards Christmas presents for the all of children.. This was a fantastic achievement and very generous of him…thank you Nick! We will let Father Christmas know of his generosity when he’s out and about visiting school in December!
