Children in Need 2018

Today we’ve had lots of spotty fun, raising money for Children in Need. Everyone has dressed up, or down in spotty outfits, Pudsey clothes or just their comfy jeans! There has been an Art competition with some fabulous yellow Pudsey slipper socks for the three lucky winners - one from each age phase! We held a cake stall where children and staff bought lots of yummy treats, including Pudsey biscuits. This morning the big yellow man himself visited - Pudsey travelled firstly to our new School for Autism @ Newfield, then moved into the main school where he saw all the children from EYFS right up to Post 16 - what a busy visit. At lunchtime pupils and staff were treated to Pudsey Pie and peas - don’t worry, it’s actually cheese and onion, not bear filling - and the catering team had made some lovely Pudsey biscuits for children to enjoy for pudding. This afternoon we’ve had a disco in the Main School hall where we danced and sang along. The winners of the art competition were announced at the start - Ahmad from EYFS, Rayan from Primary and Suha from 14-19 phase - well done to all for some fabulous Pudsey artwork from painting to collage!

Staff bought ducks for the Children In Need lucky duck race, and those whose ducks won got a treat!

We all had a fantastic fun day - hopefully we’ve raised £190.75 for Children in Need! Now we are worn out from all the dancing and are ready for the weekend - starting with Children in Need on the telly tonight - enjoy!
