Today Donna Threfall from BwD YPS - Young People’s Services - came into school to facilitate a meeting and a discussion on who we would like to see as our youth election member. Donna explained what each representative wanted for young people; we discussed what our students needed.
Lots of the young people talked about mental health, transport costs and homelessness.
Our students were interested and listened well, joining in the discussion. We also watched a video recording of the young people who needed our votes.
We all enjoyed voting and will find out at the end of the month which candidate was successful.
