RRSA Visit to Chestnut Lodge

Today some of the students and staff from the RRSA steering group went to join another school who are also a Rights and Respecting School. They set off on the long journey to go and spend the day at Chestnut Lodge School in Widnes.

Our students joined in with a range of activities looking at ways to be kinder to the environment. Our students joined in working in the sensory gardens, planting wild flowers for the insects and making bug houses.

Our students and staff really enjoyed the day and made lots of new friends. We are hoping to see the students from Chestnut Lodge again in the new school year when they come to visit us again.

Two of our pupils particularly enjoyed trying out the fab outdoor equipment which they could use with their wheelchairs - They loved having a go on the roundabout and were laughing their heads off!

Thanks very much to Chestnut Lodge for such a fantastic day!
