RRSA Steering Group Meeting November 2019

This afternoon the steering group met up for their half termly catch up. The group ensures that the whole school focuses on promoting children’s rights.

Today we discussed class charters, fundraising for our link orphanage in Kenya, Christmas carols at our link old folks home Queen’s Lodge and plans for next year.

we then focussed on an environmental issue that we are supporting for the Big Climate Fightback. We will be planting a tree on Friday in the ‘pledge to plant’ initiative and thought about why trees are important and how we can respect the planet.

We then made posters to put around school to raise awareness of looking after the environment by planting trees. Everyone did a fantastic job!
