Passenger Assistant Christmas 2019

At the very end of the day today we welcomed our fantastic passenger assistants into school a little bit earlier than usual, to enjoy some festive drinks and snacks.

The assistants and drivers work so hard all year round bringing all of our 170 children to school and back home - rain or shine, wild wind and snow storms don’t stop these people from driving all over Blackburn and beyond to collect the Newfield family.

Our children enjoy the support they receive and many families comment that they see their bus or taxi staff more than some of their own families!

They enjoyed sandwiches, vegan sausage rolls, crisps, pizza and biscuits - and we were amazed by how fast the pile went down as you can see from the empty trays - they were very full, very happy and very grateful when they took the children home today!

Thank you to everyone who helps the Newfield Family and Merry Christmas!
