September - Back to Learning!

The children are settling back into the routines of school really well, following the long 6 months away due to COVID.

This week we have enjoyed some late summer sunshine and some children have been outside, enjoying the fresh air and making the most of it! before autumn kicks in!

Some children have enjoyed practising walking outside, and using their visual skills in a bid to catch up their learning and development.

On Wednesday we also invited some of our brand new children who are very young in for a transition session this week - they absolutely loved it, as you can see from the happy faces - bubbles and meeting new staff made for an enjoyable day!

Daisy’s class in the school for Autism ate a leisurely lunch al fresco - very civilised! They very much enjoyed eating in the sunshine and using their independence skills.

Children have been really enjoying taking part in Sensory Integration sessions, using the swings, tunnels and trampettes to explore and develop their tolerance of different sensations .
