Optimistic October

Our staff have done a really good job, supporting the children with the return to school after COVID and a 6 month period at home for many of the children. We hear from many parents who are delighted to have children back in school and we are sure that you will agree that in these challenging times, having a little bit of optimism for the future is a really important thing.

This month is Optimistic October - and to kick off the second month of the new academic year, we wanted to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication.

Today, we provided a lovely lunch to everyone, as a token of the huge appreciation that we and the families have for what the staff do, day in, day out, with big smiles on their faces - everyone’s wellbeing is really important to us. Thank you to ‘Flavours’ in Blackburn for providing the delicious food and thanks to the head teacher Rik for the gesture of kindness and doing a brilliant job delivering to classes!

We all love our children and our jobs, but it is always nice to hear that people value us - so, another big thank you to all the families and colleagues who have told us that they value what we do - Happy Optimistic October!
