Summer Term Learning

We have returned to school for the summer term and lots of fun activities and learning is already well under way! The weather is a bit warmer and so we have all been able to enjoy being outside in the fresh air a little bit more.

Children in the school for SEND are thinking about sports and the olympics in their theme this half term. Macy enjoyed some time in our sensory garden - in this brilliant photo of her, Macy is following the rope around the garden, she loved it as you can see. She kept hold the whole way!!!!

They have also played some games together outside - enjoying a relay race, throwing beanbags into hoops and playing basketball.

In the school for Autism, children are working on the theme of the world around us and are exploring lots of different environments. In EYFS - KS2 for the WOW event they have enjoyed an event to introduce the theme for this half term with the children enjoyed planting and craft activities in the outdoor learning area and finished with a teddy bears picnic in the studio where they had a snack and a drink.
