KS2 Christmas Showcase

This morning we were delighted to welcome parents and families into school to be entertained and celebrate the skills the Key Stage 2 children have been working on over the last term in their Christmas showcase! It was lovely to see so many visitors in school and they all had a treat as it was absolutely fantastic - the families who came loved it.

It wasn’t a traditional native, but a showcase of all the skills that the children have and the highlight of this was that everyone could see all of the children doing things that they enjoy and can do - be that singing, dancing, playing bells, banging a drum, dressing a christmas tree or raving!

The expressions on the children’s faces were moving and uplifting - pure joy… and the staff seemed to be having a good time too!!

The audience clapped, sang and cheered them all on.

After the performance visitors were offered refreshments to ward off the cold, whilst taking photos of their children - what a lovely morning!

Well done to all involved in the brilliant KS 2 Christmas showcase.
