On Tuesday 3rd January our staff returned to work for a staff development day - having wished each other a happy new year, we spent the day refreshing our training, learning new skills and preparing for the new school term.
As well as our nursing team delivering training around administering medications, Jenny N led a refresher for Team Teach which helps us to support children’s behaviours; Lois led a session on supporting learning for all the EHCAs and Louise and Aimie delivered Moving and Handling training to ensure that all of our staff can support children needing support with physical needs.
Any staff not taking part in training were busy sorting out classrooms and preparing resources ready for our fantastic children who returned on Wednesday with lots of big smiles!
