School Council 2023

Today we held our first School Council meeting of 2023, after our Christmas break.

We all discussed things we do that we enjoy and what make us happy and helps us to not be stressed, in preparation for Children’s Mental Health week 6th -12th February 2023. The theme this year is ‘Let’s connect’ and you can find our school on the Place2Be map showing all the groups in the UK who are going in!

Some students enjoy walking swimming, dancing, and singing. Others said they enjoy jigsaws, art, stress balls, drawing and even knitting!

We also discussed things we would like to see in school such has different choices for school dinners, being able to do voluntary work and meeting other students from other schools. Some of the students will be talking to headteacher Rachel about these developments.

We then enjoyed refreshments with our friends and some of the students sang songs and danced. We are all very happy to be back in school.
