Children's Mental Health Week 2023 - Connecting, Discos and Holidays!

We’ve had a fantastic Children’s Mental Health week with children, staff and families connecting all across the school.

Class 1 and class 2 have been getting together as part of our wellbeing ‘let’s connect’ and enjoyed sharing, playing and developing their skills with their friends.

There was another afternoon of activities that the students wanted to do to help with their wellbeing. Some wanted music on the whiteboard, others wanted yoga, a few chose sharing games like Connect 4 and obviously the foot spa was chosen again!

S2 had a great time during a visit from Harley the therapy dog - the children love stroking and feeding her, and we love their smiles.

Class 6 enjoyed dipping their feet in the footspa, dancing to music, looking at our colours and making Valentine’s Day heart drops for people they love.

To finish off this fabulous week, this morning we had a valentine’s enterprise event with pupils selling romance themed gifts and cards that they have made.

And then we finished off the half term with a lively, loved-up valentine’s disco!

We are all ready for a break… have a good half term and do something good for your wellbeing!
