Summer Learning Inside & Out!

We were all very happy to return to school yesterday after a weeks holidays and all of the children were ready to continue their learning in the sunshine.

We are delighted to announce that our long awaited outdoor learning space is finally ready to use and it looks fantastic.

Children were able for the first tie to make use of the wheelchair roundabout, wheelchair swing, gorilla swing, trim trail, balance blocks and the brilliant covered gazebo where we can learn, read and play under cover outside.

It looks beautiful and everyone had lots of fun exploring the new area - hopefully it will be enjoyed by many for years to come. Many thanks to the team at Pentagon Play who created and installed this beautiful space.

Elsewhere inside school, children in S4 enjoyed seeing what they could find in their new ocean tuff tray as they begin their new theme learning about different environments and how to look after and protect them. They are looking forward to visiting the beach to learn more about it later this half term.
