MOVE Festival Summer 23

Today we held our first ever MOVE Festival – it was absolutely brilliant and truly highlighted the enthusiasm and motivation felt by the pupils taking part for all things related to developing and promoting their physical independence.

We all dressed up as though we were going to a music festival and had a brilliant time singing, dancing, biking and working on mats with stretches and switches - demonstrating our MOVE SKILLS.

Some of our older pupils had a move musical festival event in class and took loads of selfies!

We hold the Gold standard of the MOVE quality mark.

The children and staff were all amazing and a big thanks must go to Aimie Gates, HLTA, who planned, organised and hosted the event, along with Louise Teese.

The parents who attended were truly impressed at the work the children and young people do, as they too, joined into activities in the hall.

Massive Congratulations to all involved - It was simply awesome and some of the outfits were pretty cool too!
