Education Health and Care Assistant Appreciation Day 2023

Today, we have had our half termly wellbeing breakfast to thank our staff for all the hard work that they put in to supporting, teaching and caring for our children and young people. Staff came bright and early to enjoy toast, crumpets, tea, coffee and juice with colleagues and friends before the start of the school day. This coincided with us celebrating teaching assistant day - which we celebrate as EHCA day, as our support staff do so much more that that role of a ‘teaching assistant’ - they are all amazing!

Staff were also able to put their names into a draw to try and win some goodies as a special treat - One of our oldest pupils has drawn the raffle for these staff wellbeing chocolates (which were all donated by the wonderful Lynn Orange), with the following lucky winners - Georgie, Adeela, Sophie H, Rebecca P, Nicole D, Tina and Ruth.

There were also some EHCA Appreciation chocolates from school which were won by Alex, Sarah R, Becky H, Sammie and Carrie.

Many Thanks to the fabulous HLTAs Sharon and Chris for yet again organising this morning’s Wellbeing Breakfast and ensure that colleagues get a minute to chat, relax and fee the appreciation for all their hard work.
