Transition Event 2023 - Where do we go from here?

It was so lovely to see so many parents in school today attending the Transition Event, hosted and developed by our fantastic family wellbeing coordinators AnnMarie and Mathilde.

We had 28 local service providers hosting information stands.

Services included housing, benefits, activity providers, adult social care, health, mental health and other services who can support our students once they leave Newfield School.

Some of our oldest students supported by bringing in our guests and serving refreshments to providers and visitors.

The hall was busy and bussing, with many of our families who attended and had a good chat, gathered information, leaflets and some treats - pens, pencils, lollies and balloons!

We aim to hold this event every year and will continue to gather information about new and existing services in order to share this information with our families - thanks to all who attended.
