Dad & Lads Coffee Morning Spring 24

Today, we held another Dads & Lads Coffee Morning here at Newfield School.

Fathers, brothers and male carers of young people attending the school were present and discussed various topics – Members of Adult and Children Social Care also attended as well as Matt from MOTIVATE.

Professionals and Parents / Carers alike exchanged experiences and suggestions, as well as finding out lot of useful info…

Dads and Lads play a crucial part in the ‘entente cordiale’ between families and school… We are already planning our next event!

To the unsung hero’s of Newfield, I just want to thank you for the invite today. As a dad it’s great to feel human again and have a chat with other dads who are in same/similar positions… As a parent it’s hard however, the coffee mornings are fantastic therapy for me… on behalf of myself, family and child I just want to say that I appreciate your ongoing help and support.
