Today 4 students from TG1 had an amazing time at the Space centre in Preston.
They were in the newly refurbished ‘Space 1’ and the girls were very impressed!
There were bubble tubes, ball pits, water beds, infinity mirrors and light games to name a few.
They enjoyed a lovely sensory time there, using physical skills to roll and stretch to reach for these interesting items whilst being out on the padded floor.
Then it was the school minibus back to school for dinner, with a rendition of ‘Show me the way to Amarillo’ on the way, which A particularly enjoyed!
It was a really good opportunity for some of our older students to visit a new place in the community and develop their confidence with new people and places.
