Prom 2026

This evening, the highlight of the Newfield social calendar took place, with our annual leavers Prom.

The hall was decorated to look like a high end club, everyone dressed up and we enjoyed music, dancing, delicious food and drink and a fantastic presentation including our goodbye and good luck video from staff to our leavers.

On arrival, there was a red carpet, where our professional photographer from Tempest snapped our guests, while they were serenaded into the building by singing and guitar from our talented staff member Ashleigh.

Our local venue provided dinner for the evening, with people choosing from a vast array and getting exactly what they fancied! There was also ice cream and a candy floss machine.

There was a great atmosphere, with our golden and black balloons along with all of the decorations, and the first use of our upgraded 4D equipment.

Everyone had a magical time, and there were a few tears, and lots of laughs and smiles during our presentation and video. All of our leavers received a T-shirt for the Class of 26 with the Newfield logo and their name.

TLR Laura and the post 16 HLTAs have worked miracles again to give us an extra special evening, and we were delighted to share this not only with our leavers, but with their families and friends.

A big thank you to everyone, to the staff who made it happen, the parents who supported and our wonderful young adults who make everything worthwhile.

More photos to come once we receive them from our photographer…

What stood out most to me was seeing everyone come together with a shared purpose. Time and again, this team proves what can be achieved when we work collaboratively, creating memorable opportunities and experiences for our students that they will remember for years to come.
