Mad Hatters Tea Party & Space

Today some of our KS2 pupils had the tea party that they have been learning about, preparing and planning this half term.

It was another beautiful sunny day which really added to the summery outside party.

The classes came together and had a nice time, engaged in some Alice in Wonderland themed activities and enjoyed the party food that they had helped to make.

They were able to use their social skills to enjoy activities together and their independence skills to make some delicious chocolate crispy cakes.

Well done to the children and a big thank you to all the staff from all 3 classes for making the session what it was and making it look so lovely for the pupils.

C11 who took part in the tea party in the afternoon, also had the morning out of school at the Space Centre in Preston where they had a brilliant time using all of their sensory resources - they were excited to go out on the bus and all behaved really well and got a lot out of the experience - what a busy day!
